A custom WordPress site, built to match an existing brand
A global events company with brand guidelines worth taking seriously. A world map, a team directory and a core values section, all built as custom blocks, so the site feels as big as the business.
The Challenge
iLUKA Collective is a global events company, so the site needed to feel credible on an international scale – a broad geographic footprint, a clear sense of what they actually do, and a team-forward presence, without losing the polish you’d expect from a brand operating at that level. Unlike some of my other clients, the design wasn’t starting from a blank page: iLUKA already had extensive, well-developed brand guidelines, so the job was building a site that honoured that existing brand properly rather than reinterpreting it from scratch.
The build itself needed a set of genuinely custom pieces – a world map to show their global reach, a staff section to put real faces to the company, and a core values block to communicate who they are, not just what they offer.

The Outcome
I built a custom WordPress theme with bespoke blocks for exactly those needs – a core values section, a staff directory, an interactive world map, and a dedicated “our solutions” area – all built on theme.json and structured SCSS so the whole thing stays consistent and maintainable as the site grows. Every part of it was built to match iLUKA’s existing brand guidelines precisely, so the site reads as a natural extension of their brand rather than a developer’s interpretation of it.
The result is a site that presents iLUKA as the established, global operation they are – professional, on-brand down to the detail, and built around custom functionality rather than generic page templates.
