WordPress developer London experience

I’ve worked on dozens of WordPress projects from small company solutions to larger-budget implementations. I work with clients in a wide variety of industries including: food and drink, travel, fashion, healthcare and training.

I generally build my WordPress themes from scratch (mostly using the Genesis Framework) but can also help edit existing WordPress themes and WordPress troubleshooting (such as site hacks and other errors).

I can also handle all the technical needs from start to finish; from finding and recommending a website host, to dealing with domain DNS issues and getting your site live and working correctly.

How much does a WordPress website cost?

The length of time it takes to complete a project influences the cost and that depends on your requirements.
If you’re looking to build a site on a budget then a pre-built template theme would start at £1,000. For a full custom WordPress theme, the starting price would be £4,000. I can provide you with a free estimate within a 24 hours that will give you a more accurate figure. This is a ballpark cost and would need to be followed up by a full brief before work begins.

Why should I choose WordPress?

WordPress is ideal for a small to medium size company which require a variety of custom content. The software is free and open-source, designed to be SEO-friendly — all you have to do is find a host and a theme. One of the major advantages of WordPress are over 50k plugins that provide you out of the box functionality which means it is very cost effective — if you can think of it, someone’s probably already built a plugin for it.

What’s your experience with WordPress?

Over the years, I have developed over 30 WordPress websites. My approach to a WordPress website is to keep it clean, quick and user friendly. I use as few plugins as possible and custom code the rest to ensure it’s fast and easy to maintain. I use tools such as GitLab for version control and SASS for quick, consistent development.
